Dr. Eve Holwell is a board-certified psychiatrist at Behavioral Psych Studio with a private practice in San Diego. She consults with Behavioral Psych Studio's team and works closely with our clinicians to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to clients.
Dr. Holwell received her medical degree from Sidney Kimmel/Jefferson Medical College
and completed her undergraduate bachelor’s degree at Yale University. She completed
her residency in Adult Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai
Hospital.
Dr. Holwell sees patients for medication management. She takes an evidence-based
approach to medication while also considering each person as an individual with
different lived experiences. She considers the biological, psychological, and
environmental etiologies of symptom presentation and uses medication, in addition to
collaboration with therapists, to most effectively form a treatment plan.
Before opening a practice, Dr. Holwell worked at the University of California, San Diego
in the Department of Psychiatry. Over the course of her training, Dr. Holwell has
conducted research and published in topics ranging from medical bioethics to
psychodynamic therapy. Dr. Holwell is licensed in California.
Dr. Holwell is not an employee of BPS, but consults with our team closely.
