DBT Fellow

Anna is a Hungarian-British master’s student in Mental Health Counseling at the City College of New York. She studied Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford and later worked in neuroscience research, where she contributed to several peer-reviewed publications. Alongside her research, Anna supported healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic and gained experience in a variety of clinical roles, strengthening her commitment to bridging science and practice.
At CCNY, Anna also works as a research assistant with Professor Waleed Sami, examining the mental health impacts of inflation and cost-of-living inequality. She is excited to begin her fellowship at BPS, where she looks forward to helping clients build meaningful, lasting change through DBT skills such as mindfulness, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

In her free time, Anna enjoys running and walking in Central Park, cooking and baking for friends, and reading.
