Grace Cline (She/Her), DBT Fellow
Grace is currently pursuing her Master’s of Social Work at Columbia University, specializing in Advanced Clinical Practice. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Lehigh University, graduating with high honors. She is thrilled to be completing her clinical practicum training at Behavioral Psych Studio and excited to deepen her skills as a clinician.
Grace brings a wealth of experience working with children and individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). As a Registered Behavior Technician, she worked closely with clients and their families, providing one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social and daily living skills and reduce problematic behaviors in the home, community and school settings. Additionally, Grace has contributed to research focused on trauma and grief in order to support Ukrainian refugee families.
Her clinical interests include working with individuals facing emotion dysregulation and trauma. Grace is particularly passionate about DBT’s focus on balancing acceptance and change as she is committed to helping clients develop practical skills to manage life’s challenges. She also believes in the power of building strong therapeutic relationships, as well as practicing mindfulness and self-compassion as key elements in the therapeutic process.
Outside of her academic and professional commitments, Grace enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and spending quality time with friends and family (as well as her two dogs).
