Michelle is a master’s student in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at New York University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology from NYU, concentrating in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies with minors in Sociology and Studio Art.
They currently work as a Clinical Administrator at Charlie Health, supporting virtual mental health sessions for adolescents and young adults by managing logistics, providing technical assistance, monitoring attendance, supporting clients and families in moments of crisis, and coordinating care across providers.

Previously, Michelle worked as a teacher’s aide with preschool-aged children with autism, gaining hands-on experience with behavioral interventions, emotional regulation, and individualized care planning.

Their clinical interests include trauma, PTSD, and complex presentations, with a focus on survivors of sexual assault. They are also passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, and multicultural/LGBTQ+ populations.

Michelle is excited to join BPS for her internship, where she will enhance their skills in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and continue developing a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach to clinical practice.

Outside of clinical work, Michelle enjoys spending time with friends, family, and their cat Stir Fry, as well as cooking, photography, live music, EDM festivals, running, and Pilates.
